ABOUT US
Eric has a background in film and television and John has a background in design. Together for many years, they lived and worked in Toronto; Eric as a Television Casting Director and John as a Regional Merchandise Manager establishing corporate identity for retail stores.
They were partners in two restaurants and in their spare time, ran a high end boutique gardening company called Urban Oasis Gardens.
Their love affair with Costa Rica began in 2006, on their honeymoon. After only two days of being in the Caribbean, they had already purchased a property.
In 2014, they sold everything and moved down to Costa Rica. First they built ‘The Dome’ and then ‘Perezoso Villa’.
Eric is now a realtor, he owns a successful real estate company called Black Sands Realty Group, with his partner Andrea Mendez.
For John, living in Costa Rica has allowed him to combine all three of his passions and do the things he loves; design, architecture and landscape garden design. John currently designs and builds boutique houses and tropical gardens for clients.
